The Merbabe Adventures blog was born while diving in Utila, Honduras in the warm Caribbean waters there. I wanted a way to share and connect with like-minded ocean people.
Now I live in California and teach SCUBA diving in the cooler waters of the Pacific ocean. Every day brings something new to learn in the news, or in the water around me. I’m also a long time diver at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and my experience in confined water aquarium diving has shaped my skill set and knowledge of creatures in ways I couldn’t calculate.
Follow my adventures here-one lone merbabe in her journeys through the sea.

you are a merbabe, awesome overdub of skills vid. I propose more of the same
Thanks John 🙂 I actually have a few more videos, kudos to Risky, with Thom’s high pitched laughing in the background 🙂 hugs to you and Nat
I’m so glad that I stumbled across your blog. I’m a NAUI Master Scuba Diver from South Africa 🙂 I’m looking forward to reading your posts.
Thank you for reading Emma! It’s so cool that we can be connected by the ocean even though we live far apart, happy diving!
