Shit they found in the LA River. It seems to be a lot of stuff that we could have avoided. Styrofoam. Plastic Bags. Plastic. Plastic. So much plastic.
Which reminds me of this awesome blog you should check out, called My Plastic Free Life. Beth Terry proves that you can live without plastic. I mean, at the moment, she has to work hard at some things, to consume less. But I hope that one day it won’t be such a struggle.

The Merbabe Adventures 
I know I’ve said this but not being able to recycle plastic here is something that really bothers me. I have been working to reduce the amount of plastic I use but that’s hard. We don’t have a lot of options here. I swear I am the only person I’ve seen here that uses a reusable shopping bag. I get weird looks every time I do.
