My bio professor joked about how when we have kids and they reach their teens, the oceans will have been overfished (the calculation we used estimated like 10 years sooner)
so when our teen comes up to us and says they cant find a significant other, we wont be able to say, “well, there are a lot of fish in the sea” because there won’t haha
